The diameter of the top cover is 272mm, the cover has 3 bolts and two air holes. The distance between the first air hole and the first bolt is 150mm, the center distance between the first bolt and the second bolt is 110mm, the distance between the second bolt and the second air hole is 155mm, and the distance between the third bolt and the first air hole is 28mm. The bottom piston diameter is 225mm, there is an M16 threaded hole, and the piston height is 130mm. The natural outer diameter of the air spring is 305mm, the minimum height is 155, and the maximum height is 420mm.

How to Maintain Truck Airbags?

1. Check the appearance of airbags regularly
Check for cracks, wear or bulging: especially the folds of the airbags and the parts in contact with the metal. If they are damaged or aged, they need to be replaced immediately.
Clean the surface of the airbag: clean with mild soapy water, avoid oil, corrosive chemicals or direct spraying with high-pressure water guns to prevent rubber aging.

2. Monitor the air pressure system
Check whether the air pressure is normal: adjust according to the manufacturer's recommended air pressure range (usually 5~8 bar) to avoid deformation or bursting of the airbag due to excessive or low pressure.
Check for leaks:Apply soapy water to the air pipe joints, valves and airbag surfaces to observe whether there are bubbles.
Listen for leaks, especially during static testing after the vehicle is lifted.
Check the dryer: Make sure the air dryer works effectively to prevent moisture from entering the system and corroding components.

3. Maintain related parts
Air pipes and joints: Check for aging, cracks or looseness, and replace hardened or damaged air pipes.
Height control valve: Ensure that the valve can automatically adjust the height of the airbag according to the load to avoid the body tilting.
Shock absorber: Works with the airbag. If the shock absorber fails, the airbag load will be increased. Regular inspection is required.

4. Lubrication and corrosion prevention
Lubrication of moving parts: For example, at the contact point between the airbag and the bracket, use silicone-based lubricant to reduce friction (avoid petroleum-based grease from corroding rubber).
Anti-rust treatment: Check whether the metal bracket and bolts are rusted, and spray anti-rust coating if necessary.

5. Driving habits and load management
Avoid overloading: Overloading will greatly shorten the life of the airbag and even cause it to burst.
Reduce impact: Pass through bumpy roads slowly to avoid instantaneous overpressure of the airbag.

6. Regular professional inspection
Every year or every 100,000 kilometers: Professional technicians use diagnostic equipment to detect system sealing, air pressure sensors and electronic control units (if any).
Dynamic test: Simulate load changes on the lift to observe whether the airbag responds normally.

7. Replacement recommendations
Airbag life: usually 5 to 8 years or 800,000 to 1.2 million kilometers (depending on road conditions and load). Even if there is no visible damage, it is recommended to replace it regularly.
Replace in pairs: Airbags on the same axle should be replaced at the same time to avoid uneven performance.
Common faults and solutions
Vehicle tilt: It may be a height valve failure or a single-side airbag leak.
Abnormal noise: Check if the air pipe is off or the bracket is loose.
Airbag does not inflate: Check for problems with the air pump, relay or circuit.
