Bus Air Bellow

Bus air suspension springs originated from the need nearly 50 years ago to improve driving comfort by absorbing vibrations, vibrations and sudden shocks caused by road structures in buses, and air suspension springs are used in almost all passenger cars in Europe. We produce air suspension springs to meet the requirements of a more comfortable ride and a more optimized vehicle load.

The generally preferred spring type for buses and light commercial vehicles is the roll spring. Roller springs are springs with superspring sensitivity. Due to their generally long product length, they provide a very comfortable suspension, reaching high strokes without increasing the working diameter. Plates and pistons produced in appropriate diameters and conical forms can be easily fitted to and dismounted from these products, both connecting necks are conical. However, in the type produced in a conical form, the direction of the tapered part with the narrower diameter must be mounted on the piston (under the shaft), and the direction with the larger diameter must be mounted on the plate (on the frame).

The air suspension springs in the bus both ensure a high level of driving comfort for the passengers and are able to maintain the vehicle height at the same ideal level during travel.

How to Install Air Springs
1: Park the car on level ground and use a floor jack to lift it up. Place jack stands under the vehicle for support.
2: Remove its lug nuts and remove the wheel. Please use a wrench for this process.
3: Deflate the air spring by opening the air nipple on the top.
4: Remove the set of fasteners holding the air spring in place. You can usually find these bolts on the control arms and under the hood. Keep in mind that the procedure for removing an air spring varies from vehicle to vehicle, so be sure to refer to your owner's manual for exactly how to remove the tire.
5: Carefully remove the old air spring from the shock. Use a spring compressor to make removal easier if needed. You can reuse the O-rings that attach the air spring to the shock.
6: Place the new air spring where the old air spring was removed.
7: Reattach it to the shock using the o-ring you removed earlier. Make sure you apply lubricant to them before putting them back on.
8: Reconnect all removed components. Recheck that there are no missing bolts, nuts and fittings.
